Peanut Butter Breath is more than just a cult classic, she’s a long running legend lasting through season after season after season. Back in 2018 we jumped on the Peanut Butter Breath and Thug Pug Genetics hypetrain with, honestly, a bit of skepticism and a ‘won’t hurt to try’ attitude. To say that skepticism washed away would be a massive understatement, it wasn’t a little change of heart, but a tsunami of ‘oh shit, the hype is real!’

She had everything we look for in a photoperiod we want to bring to autoflower form: size, vigour and flavour in abundance. Not only that, but it was a flavour that we simply hadn’t sampled before and we knew that we had to work this into the Mephisto lineup. We did a number of test runs of different photo x auto conversions to figure out the best parentage before we eventually settled on Creme de la Chem. CDLC has been a staple of the Mephisto family for a long time now; she always brings the density and branching strength to anything she’s involved with. And that was just what we were looking for when it came to the auto parent for Peanut Butter Breath.

Butters’ Breath F5, along with a community-tested selection of F1 Limited Editions, will be dropping on the 13th of April at 1pm EU, 12pm UK, 7am Eastern, 5am Pacific.

But enough of that, m'kay. Let’s get down with a bit of the strain description:

Seed Type
F5 Feminised Automatic
Genetic Heritage
Peanut Butter Breath [Thug Pug Genetics] x Creme de la Chem

High (in both senses of the word) in the Mephisto mountains, nestled between a four-assed monkey and a genetically engineered pot-bellied elephant, Drs Mitch Connor and Tim Burch have brewed up another special something. After many nights getting high and playing Funkytown on their iPhone keypads, a creation was born. A pair of nuts that could walk, talk and bring the gas, and we’re not talking about the Drs any more. Peanut Butter Breath is one of the most coveted profiles in the game, and adding that fire to the Mephisto lineup was something we couldn’t delay any further.

Don’t let the name fool you. Butters might seem sweet and unassuming at first, but give her time and she dons the tinfoil and goes full Professor Chaos. She’s a bushy, multi-topped beauty, with golf-ball-sized nugs and leaves that show a kaleidoscope of purples, pinks, and near-black hues during senescence. She’s far more complex on the nose than she might first suggest, moving from a lemony chem during the grow to a post-cure profile that’s been described as Reese’s peanut butter cup meets dark chocolate and roasted marshmallow, along with lingering hints of spicy lemon and ammonia-type funk.

The effects follow the same arc. She’s front-loaded with a euphoric uplift; mood-brightening and social before she switches and settles into couch-lock heaven and a serious case of the munchies that’ll have you feeling like Cartman being airdropped into a Cheesy Poofs factory. Butters’ Breath is an evening strain through and through, the couch-lock makes you feel like you’re the one who’s been grounded for life yet happier than a Canadian on Pudding Day, as is tradition.

Butters' Breath also features artwork by Sheffield artist Rob Richardson! Currently an artist for 2000AD's Dredd comic books, it's awesome to have another local artist on board with us. Rob also dabbles in progressive death metal with his band Terminal Sun. You can check out their work on BandCamp over here.

Tester Spotlight: Butters’ Breath

Grower: Stan

Medium: Living Soil | Lighting: SF 480W | Container: N/A
Nutes: BAS Top Dressing
Training: Leaf tuck, LST | Cycle: 90 days | Height: 30 in
Plant Shape / Structure: Bush with multiple tops, large puffball colas, long dense hairs, exceptional colour expression: purple transitioning to near black with bright orange pistils
Yield: 6 oz
Aroma: Light during grow, earthy dark chocolate with sweet funk; after cure complex earthy dark chocolate, sweetness with chemmy background
Notes: Trichomes N/A, overall rating 4.5/5, intermediate difficulty, nitrogen sensitive in veg, leaf curl early, stunning colour expression, grow again 4.5/5
Short Summary: Complex earthy dark chocolate and chem emerging from a visually jaw-dropping near-black plant with bright orange pistils, puffball colas and a heavy euphoric couch lock that hits as hard as it looks. 🧈🍫🖤

Stan's Butters' Breath started a little finnicky: nitrogen sensitivity in veg, leaf curl that had him watching closely, but once she hit flower she left all that behind and never looked back. What emerged was one of the most visually striking plants of the entire tester round: large puffball colas stacked with long dense hairs, transitioning through purple before deepening into an almost complete black finish that drew immediate comparisons to the Creme de la Chem purple pheno. The contrast between jet black leaves and bright orange pistils was, by Stan's own account, a sight to behold, and it's hard to argue with that assessment. Aroma stayed light through the grow before revealing its true character post-cure: complex earthy dark chocolate with a sweetness underneath and a chemmy backbone holding everything together. A sophisticated and unexpected profile that sets this pheno apart from the lemon-forward and peanut-heavy expressions elsewhere in the tester round. Effects land exactly where the visuals suggest: heavy stone, hard couch lock and euphoria that doesn't apologise for itself. Cure notes still incoming, but at 6oz and a 4.5 rating, Stan's Butters' Breath has already made its case. 🧈

Grower: Modkins

Medium: Happy Frog Soil, extra perlite | Lighting: 240W LED, 24/7 | Container: 3 gal
Nutes: Cronk Nutrients
Training: Leaf tucking | Cycle: 70–79 days | Height: 28–33 in (71–85 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Main-cola dominant, Christmas tree, dense flowers, some popcorn lowers without lollipopping
Yield: 56g / 2 oz
Aroma: High during grow, tropical blue razz early transitioning to gassy skunk funk near harvest; cure notes pending
Notes: Trim ease 3/5, trichomes 5/5, expert difficulty, very nutrient sensitive, start in lightest possible mix, light on water, frost monster, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Tropical blue razz flipping to gassy skunk funk near harvest, a frost monster Christmas tree that rewards patience and a light hand on the nutrients above all else. 🧈🫐⛽

Modkins described as very sensitive, with a strong recommendation to start in the lightest possible mix and build gradually rather than risk the early toxicity that catches so many growers out with this one. Once dialled in however, she delivered exactly what the Butters' Breath reputation promises: a frost monster, a super smelly tent presence and a terpene arc that opened with loud tropical blue razz early on before transitioning to gassy skunk funk as harvest approached, one of the more unexpected and exciting aroma journeys in the entire tester round. A classic Christmas tree structure with a dominant main cola and mostly dense flowers throughout, with some popcorn on the lowers from skipping the lollipop. At 2oz she ran compact but Modkins is unequivocal; the grow is very much worth it. Just go easy on the feed. 🧈

Grower: TheMadrek

Medium: Promix | Lighting: Mars Hydro 300W | Container: 1 gal
Nutes: Jack's 4:3, Recharge, GH CalMag
Training: Leaf tucking | Cycle: 70-79 days | Height: 22-27 in (56, 70 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Strong side branching, even canopy, main cola dominant, colossal individual buds
Yield: 108.8g
Aroma: High during grow, nutty, lemony and chemmy battling for dominance; after cure bleach chem funk, bitter lemon, roasted marshmallow and peanut butter on vape
Notes: Trim ease 2/5, trichomes 4/5, intermediate difficulty, nutrient sensitive, grow again 4/5.
Short Summary: Lemon, chem and peanut butter fighting for dominance from vine to jar, colossal individual buds from a single gallon, and a slow full-bodied euphoric high that makes music sound better and sleep feel inevitable. 🧈🥜🍋

TheMadrek went in skeptical of another Creme de la Chem cross and came out a convert; his words, and they carry weight. Running her in a single gallon with Jack's 4:3 at 80-90% strength to keep the nitrogen sensitivity in check, she built strong side branching and an even canopy with a main cola standing clear above the rest, producing colossal individual buds that pushed close to half an ounce each and topped the yield charts against every other plant in the run. The aroma was a three-way battle for dominance from seed to harvest: nutty, lemony and chemmy all fighting for the mic, with a classic dank chem presence from a distance and earthy peanut notes lurking underneath. Post-cure that complexity deepened beautifully: bleach and chem funk up front, bitter lemon through the grind, roasted marshmallow and peanut butter emerging on the vape with Flintstone chalky candy sweetness coating the fingers. Effects are slow, full-bodied and deeply euphoric; the kind of high that makes music sound clearer, slows everything down to the right speed and eases you toward sleep without forcing the issue. TheMadrek's closing recommendation: use this to convert Platinum Marshmallow to an auto. High praise from a self-described skeptic. Oh hamburgers. 🧈

Grower: JB

Medium: Build A Soil 3.0, Light Mix | Lighting: 300W Vivosun | Container: 15 gal
Nutes: Build A Soil, Big Six, Bloom, Craft Blend
Training: Slight LST | Cycle: 80-89 days | Height: 40-45 in (101, 115 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Christmas tree, solid colours, lighter density buds
Yield: 154g
Aroma: High during grow, sweet chemical funk with nutty peanut butter; after cure sweet chemicals with nutty peanut butter exhale
Notes: Trim ease 4/5, trichomes 5/5, novice friendly, lighter density, grow again 4/5.
Short Summary: Sweet chemical funk and nutty peanut butter from vine to jar, a pretty Christmas tree with great bag appeal, and a functional body high with real potency that works day or evening. 🧈🥜⚗️

JB kept it simple with Butters' Breath in a generous 15-gallon living soil setup and she rewarded the relaxed approach with one of the most aromatic tents of the run. A classic Christmas tree structure with slight LST, pretty colours and what JB describes as "great sniffs" from start to finish; very stinky sweet chemical funk layered with a nutty peanut butter presence that filled the room and refused to apologise for it. Buds came in on the lighter side density-wise, something JB notes with honesty, but the terps and the high more than picked up the slack. Post-cure sweet chemicals led the way with a nutty peanut butter exhale that translated directly onto the palate. Effects crawl up from the legs into a functional body high with real potency behind it: a daytime and evening strain that hits with purpose without locking you to the couch. Crazy terps, fantastic high, great sniffs. Sometimes that's the whole report. 🧈

Grower: SilentJ17

Medium: Coast of Maine Stonington Blend + Seed Starter | Lighting: Spider Farmer SE5000s with deep red, UV and IR supplemental | Container: 5 gal fabric pot
Nutes: Dr. Earth Flower Girl, Recharge, GE Silica, CalMag
Training: Light LST, selective defoliation in flower | Cycle: 60-69 days | Height: 28-33 in (71-85 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Bushy, main cola slightly above surrounding branches, large thick golf-ball nugs, heavy frost; two distinct phenos: dark purple/black and vibrant pink/orange/green/yellow
Yield: 578.52g fresh frozen (colorful pheno: 288.07g | dark pheno: 290.45g) | Hash: 18.32g (3.12% return)
Aroma: Medium during grow, chem and lemon dominant with nuttiness emerging at harvest; after cure loud nutty lemon chem, earthy lemon and raw peanuts
Notes: Trim ease 4/5, trichomes 4/5, intermediate difficulty, nitrogen sensitive early, start lean on nutes, grow again 4/5
🏆 Award: 7th Place Hash/Rosin: American Autoflower Cup 2026 (score: 49.333)
Short Summary: Two stunning phenos: one dark purple, one a vibrant candy explosion, washing down to loud nutty lemon chem full melt, with an indica dominant couch lock finish.🧈🥜💜

SilentJ17 ran two Butters' Breath phenos simultaneously and landed two completely different operatives from the same mission. Pheno one: dark purple, almost black, mysterious and brooding. Pheno two: a vibrant explosion of pink, orange, green and yellow that looked like Butters himself designed the colour palette. Both built bushy structures with a main cola sitting just above surrounding branches, producing large thick golf-ball sized frost-covered nugs that made the fresh frozen numbers easy to understand. Chem and lemon dominated the stem rub throughout the grow before the nuttiness finally revealed itself at harvest: a classic Butters move, saving the best for last. The combined fresh frozen yield of 578.52g washed down to 18.32g of hash at a solid 3.12% return, which SilentJ17 then cured piattella style for six weeks for his AAC competition entry; placing 7th in the hash and rosin category with a score of 49.333. The full melt that didn't make the entry jar came in loud, pungent nutty lemon chem with earthy lemon and raw peanuts on the taste. Effects land firmly indica dominant: couch lock, sleep-inducing and built for rainy weekend evenings when the plan was always to go nowhere. A note for growers: she runs nitrogen sensitive early, even in rich amended soil, so start lean and build gradually. 🫡

Grower: Terpenetix

Medium: Coco | Lighting: Luxx 645 Pro LED | Container: 22.2 gal
Nutes: Athena Blended
Training: Topped, LST clips | Cycle: 80-89 days | Height: 34-39 in (86-100 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Bushy, insane frost coverage, lower sites benefit from partial harvesting
Yield: 8 oz
Aroma: Medium during grow, earthy chem peanut with hints of lemon; after cure peanuts, gas and lemon
Notes: Trim ease 4/5, trichomes 5/5, intermediate difficulty, partial harvest recommended, grow again 4/5
Short Summary: Earthy chem peanut and lemon tightening to peanut gas in the jar, a bushy frost-loaded stunner with insane trichome coverage and 8oz that makes the partial harvest worth planning for. 🧈🥜⛽

Terpenetix ran Butters' Breath topped and LST clipped in a 22.2-gallon coco setup and the result was a bushy, frost-loaded stunner that stopped people in their tracks. Described simply as a "stunner" with insane frost coverage, and at 8oz that assessment is hard to argue with. The aroma profile stayed true to the Butters' Breath brief throughout: earthy, chem and peanut with hints of lemon weaving through, tightening post-cure into peanuts, gas and lemon in a clean and cohesive combination. One grower note worth flagging: lower bud sites ran behind the tops, making her a strong candidate for partial harvesting to get the best out of every corner of the canopy. A minor tactical adjustment for a plant that delivers a serious return. Oh hamburgers indeed. 🧈

Grower: BodiFerrell

Medium: Biobizz Light Mix Soil | Lighting: 240W | Container: 5 gal
Nutes: Advanced Nutrients
Training: Lollipopping | Cycle: 80-89 days | Height: 34-39 in (86, 100 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Main-cola dominant, golf-ball sized nugs, low fan leaf production, tallest in grow box despite deficiencies
Yield: 3 oz
Aroma: Medium during grow, lemon creamy butter and earthy early, transitioning to nutty gassy chem and rubber late; after cure gassy chem ammonia up front with creamy nutty earthiness
Notes: Trim ease 5/5, trichomes 5/5, intermediate difficulty, nitrogen sensitive, pH sensitive, resilient under stress, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Lemon and cream butter evolving to gassy chem rubber on the vine, Reese's peanut butter cup on the exhale, and a couch-locking anxiety-melting high with serious medicinal credentials, even on a rough run. 🧈🥜🍫

BodiFerrell's run wasn't without its complications: nitrogen toxicity in veg, pH fluctuations in flower, a handful of nutrient deficiencies along the way, but Butters' Breath did what Butters always does: kept smiling through the chaos and delivered anyway. Despite the turbulent run she still stood tallest in the grow box, kept her fan leaf production minimal, and stacked golf-ball sized flowers that trimmed out cleanly. Aroma arrived around day 46 and built beautifully from there: lemon, creamy butter and earthy early in flower, transitioning to nutty, gassy, chem and slightly rubbery as she matured; a full Butters' Breath arc played out in real time. Post-cure she opened gassy, chem and ammonia up front with a creamy nutty touch underneath, and on the smoke the exhale landed like a Reese's peanut butter cup: roasted peanuts, sweet cream and earthy warmth lingering on the palate long after the session ended. Effects went full couch lock: heavy behind the eyes, euphoric, munchie-inducing and deeply anxiety-melting with notable medicinal value for headaches, stress and pain relief. Not BodiFerrell's cleanest run by his own admission, but Butters forgives, and the results speak for themselves. 🧈

Grower: Stealthmode204

Medium: Coco | Lighting: 240W Kingbrite | Container: 3 gal
Nutes: Remo Nutrients, Hygrozyme, Hyshield, Hygroben
Training: Topped, LST | Cycle: 70-79 days | Height: 34-39 in (86-100 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Multi-topped bush, excellent bud-to-leaf ratio, easy trim
Yield: 138g
Aroma: High during grow, lemony chem; after cure lemony chem and fuel with spicy lemon on smoke
Notes: Trim ease 5/5, trichomes 4/5, intermediate difficulty, nitrogen sensitive early, smooth run once dialled in, grow again 4/5.
Short Summary: Loud lemony chem tightening to fuel and spicy lemon in the jar, a multi-topped bush with an exceptional bud-to-leaf ratio, and a heavy potent couch-lock high that means business.

Stealthmode204 topped and LST'd Butters' Breath into a multi-topped bush and she responded beautifully once the early nitrogen sensitivity was identified and dialled back; a theme emerging across this entire tester round that's worth flagging for anyone planning a run. Once she found her feet the grow smoothed out completely, delivering an exceptional bud-to-leaf ratio that made trim day a genuine pleasure and 138g of quality buds that punched well above the drama of the early weeks. Lemony chem dominated the aroma throughout at high strength: loud, consistent and unmistakable, tightening post-cure into lemony chem and fuel with a spicy lemon character emerging on the smoke that adds a welcome twist to the classic Butters' Breath profile. Effects land heavy and potent, couch lock territory for anyone who pushes the dose, with a high that builds and settles with serious weight. A straightforward and rewarding run once you learn to go easy on the nitrogen early doors. 🧈

Grower: SmokinTehHerbz

Medium: Soil | Lighting: LED - Mammoth Mint 6 | Container: 30 gal
Nutes: BuildASoil Craft Blend, Ocean Blend, Big 6, Peach Ferment, Growers Recharge
Training: Leaf tuck, LST | Cycle: 80–89 days | Height: 22–27 in (56–70 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Vertical lower branches, benefits from early training to widen canopy
Yield: TBD
Aroma: High during grow, sharp burnt rubber and raw chem gas early, softening to rubbery gas with creamy roasted macadamia nuttiness late flower; cure notes pending
Notes: Trim ease 4/5, trichomes 4/5, intermediate difficulty, lower branches need spacing early, grow again 4/5
Short Summary: Burnt rubber and raw chem gas softening to creamy roasted macadamia nuttiness, a pheno that didn't get its full chance to shine and already has its grower planning round two. 🧈🔥🥜

SmokinTehHerbz ran Butters' Breath in a 30-gallon living soil setup and landed a pheno that opened with sharp burnt rubber and raw chem gas in early flower before softening into a smoother rubbery gas layered with creamy roasted macadamia nuttiness by late flower, one of the more unique aroma arcs in the entire tester round. A structural note worth flagging: lower branches ran tight and vertical toward the main stem early on, benefiting from training to space them out and open the canopy wider. SmokinTehHerbz admits this one didn't get a fair run due to some early user error and has already earmarked her for another go, which given the terpene profile on display here, feels like the right call. Full cure and smoke notes incoming. 🧈

Grower: IndoCanna

Medium: Coco Brick | Lighting: LED | Container: 2 gal
Nutes: Athena Blended
Training: Defoliation only | Cycle: 80–89 days (estimated, still in flower) | Height: 28–33 in (71–85 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Main-cola dominant, leafier than average, very dense buds
Yield: TBD
Aroma: Low during grow, creamy candy with lemon notes in late flower; cure notes pending
Notes: Trim ease 3/5, trichomes 3/5, intermediate difficulty, nitrogen sensitive, clawing in veg through mid flower, grow again 3/5
Short Summary: Creamy candy and lemon emerging in late flower from a dense main-cola dominant frame, nitrogen sensitive as expected, leafier than ideal, but the buds tell a different story and the jar is going to be worth the wait. 🧈🍋🍬

IndoCanna's Butters' Breath is still in the field but reporting back with promising early intel. Running defoliation only in a 2-gallon coco setup, she built a main-cola dominant frame with more vegetation than IndoCanna would typically prefer, and showed the now familiar nitrogen sensitivity through clawing in veg that persisted into mid flower before settling down. Buds however came in very dense despite the leafy build, a recurring Butters' Breath trait that rewards patience and a light hand on the nitrogen early. Late flower aroma is already delivering creamy candy with lemon notes that sit squarely in the Butters' Breath wheelhouse, hinting at the complexity that post-cure typically unlocks. Harvest, yield, cure and smoke notes all still incoming.

Grower: xJawlz

Medium: PromixHP, Earthworm Castings | Lighting: Evo 6 | Container: 3.9 gal
Nutes: Grow Dots, weekly ReCharge
Training: LST | Cycle: 80–89 days | Height: 28–33 in (71–85 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Self-topped creating 3 natural main colas, strong deep purple and black fade
Yield: 80g
Aroma: Medium during grow, earthy and nutty with funk; after cure earthy nutty with berry on the tail end
Notes: Trim ease 4/5, trichomes N/A, novice friendly, near water-only programme, exceptional colour expression, grow again 4/5
Short Summary: Earthy nutty funk with a berry tail emerging post-cure, a self-topped three-cola frame with exceptional deep purple and near-black fade, and an almost water-only run that delivered clean and efficient results. 🧈🥜💜

xJawlz ran Butters' Breath lean and clean in a 3.9-gallon Promix setup with Grow Dots doing the heavy lifting, and she self-topped in at least two spots to create three natural main colas without any intervention, Butters doing things her own way as usual. Outside of a weekly ReCharge and plain pH'd water the plant asked for nothing additional, making this one of the most hands-off runs in the entire tester round despite the intermediate reputation the strain has built elsewhere. The real showstopper came through senescence; strong deep purples and near blacks fading across the plant in what xJawlz describes as exceptional colour expression, firmly in line with the stunning dark phenos reported throughout this tester programme. Post-cure landed earthy, nutty and earthy with a berry note appearing on the tail end, a subtle but welcome surprise that adds a final layer of complexity to the Butters' Breath profile. At 80g from a compact frame on a near water-only programme, the efficiency speaks for itself. 🧈

Grown by: InappropriatelyLarge

Medium: Coco | Lighting: LED | Container: 5 gal
Nutes: CropSalt
Training: LST on main cola, ineffective; apical dominant pheno | Cycle: 70–79 days | Height: 22–27 in (56–70 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Main cola dominant despite LST, compact, frostiest plant of the grow
Yield: 250g fresh frozen
Aroma: Medium during grow, funky citrus; after cure lemon up front, nutty and earthy on the back
Notes: Trim ease 5/5, trichomes 5/5, intermediate difficulty, light and nutrient sensitive, compact pheno, grow again 4/5
Short Summary: Funky citrus on the vine into lemon up front and nutty earthy depth in the jar, the frostiest plant of the grow in a compact apical dominant frame that does things entirely on its own terms. 🍋🧈🎵

InappropriatelyLarge threw LST at Chocolate Salty Bo'z and she politely ignored it. A stubbornly apical dominant pheno that wanted to do things her way (main cola up, everything else falling in line behind it) and frankly the results justify the attitude. Running leaner and more compact than Large's usual monsters in the 5-gallon coco setup, she came in on the smaller side by his standards but made up for it by being the frostiest plant of the entire grow: a title that means something when you consider the competition sharing that tent. Sensitive to both light and nitrogen compared to her neighbours, she rewarded the extra attention with 250g of fresh frozen and a terpene profile that delivered exactly what the name promises: funky citrus on the vine, lemon up front and nutty earthy depth on the backend post-cure. Large's closing note says it all: "O'z strikes again." Effects data still incoming but at 5/5 trichomes and a profile this compelling, the anticipation is well justified. Chef would approve. 🎵🧈

Grower: 11th Division Grows

Medium: Peat/Perlite (Promix HP) | Lighting: LED | Container: 2 gal
Nutes: House and Garden Aquaflakes
Training: None | Cycle: 80–89 days | Height: 28–33 in (71–85 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Main-cola dominant, no training required, beautiful appearance
Yield: TBD
Aroma: Medium during grow, musky salted chocolate, mild berry, creamy finish
Notes: Trim ease 5/5, trichomes 5/5, intermediate difficulty, nutrient sensitive, favourite plant of the grow, cure and smoke notes pending, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Musky salted chocolate creme with mild berry underneath, a beautiful no-fuss main-cola dominant frame and a tent presence so good it became the undisputed favourite of the entire grow. 🍫🧈🎵

11th Division Grows called Chocolate Salty Bo'z their favourite plant of the entire grow, and with a musky salted chocolate creme terpene profile filling the tent every time the door opened, it's not hard to understand why. No training needed, no intervention required, she built a clean main-cola dominant frame in a 2-gallon container and got on with the business of smelling incredible. Musky salted chocolate, mild berry underneath and a creamy finish that 11th Division couldn't stop going back to check on. Beautiful to look at, beautiful to smell, and earning a perfect 5/5 on both trim ease and overall rating without breaking a sweat. Cure and smoke notes still incoming, but when your favourite plant of the grow is also your loudest and your prettiest, the jar opening is going to be something special. Chef would most definitely approve. 🎵🍫

Grower: Ancient_Kangaroo_492 / DK

Medium: CoM Stonington Blend | Lighting: Vivosun Bar LED | Container: 3 gal fabric pot
Nutes: Mega Crop
Training: Au natural | Cycle: 90–99 days | Height: 22–27 in (56–70 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Main cola with side branching, Old School Blues bud structure, classic foxtailing, added density
Yield: ~1.5 oz (estimated)
Aroma: Medium during grow, sour grape and unique chem throughout, reminiscent of CDLC meets 505 Headbanger; cure notes pending
Notes: Trim ease 3/5, trichomes 3/5, intermediate difficulty, light on feed and water, resilient under stress, redemption round planned, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Sour grape and a uniquely unplaceable chem sitting somewhere between CDLC and 505, a hands-off resilient grower with Old School Blues structure, and a smell so distinctive it's already earned a second run before the first jar is opened. 🧈🍇⚗️

Ancient_Kangaroo_492/DK ran General Disarray almost entirely hands-off. Fed only three times, bottom watered with plain water the rest of the way, and dealt with low humidity during a crucial growth window, and she pushed through it all with the resilience you'd expect from a strain named after Professor Chaos's most loyal lieutenant. Bud structure stayed true to the Old School Blues lineage with classic foxtailing and a little added density, running long as the name might suggest, with a main cola and some reaching side branches keeping things tidy without any intervention needed. The aroma is the headline here, a sour grape and chem combination so unique that DK couldn't quite place it, landing somewhere between CDLC and 505 Headbanger in a combination he'd never encountered before. That smell alone has him circling back for a redemption round to give her the full run she deserves. Cure and smoke notes incoming, but at 5/5 on effects and a scent profile this distinctive, General Disarray is already making her presence felt. Just like the General himself; underestimated, underrated, and quietly plotting something special.

Grower: Stealthmode204

Medium: Coco | Lighting: 240W Kingbrite | Container: 3 gal
Nutes: Remo Nutrients, Hygrozyme, Hyshield, Hygroben
Training: Topping, LST | Cycle: 70–79 days | Height: 46–51 in (116–130 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Multi-topped bush, large trichome heads, exceptionally sticky
Yield: 240g
Aroma: High during grow, grape chem and nutty gas; after cure nutty gas up front settling into grape chem
Notes: Trim ease 4/5, trichomes 5/5, novice friendly, extra water required, exceptional hash potential, hidden gem, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Grape chem and nutty gas unlike anything else in the Mephisto catalogue, a sticky trichome-loaded multi-topped bush with serious hash potential, and a potent sociable high that delivers the flavour without the couchlock. 🍇🧈⛽

'Member when a strain came along that smelled like nothing else in the catalogue and immediately had everyone wondering why it wasn't getting more attention? Stealthmode204 does, because Member Berries was that strain. A no-drama, no-issues run from start to finish; novice friendly, extra thirsty but otherwise completely unbothered, building a multi-topped bush that pushed into impressive height territory and delivered 240g of quality flower without breaking a sweat. The terpene profile is where Member Berries truly separates itself: grape chem and nutty gas during the grow, opening the jar to nutty gas up front before settling into grape chem that Stealthmode describes as very pleasant and entirely unique in the Mephisto lineup. Large trichome heads built a surface so sticky it became one of the stickiest Mephisto runs he'd encountered, a hash producer with serious potential that he flags as likely exceptional for washing. Effects land potent but more functional than the Artisanal, similar flavours on the smoke without the classic couch lock, a sociable and enjoyable experience that keeps you present. Stealthmode's verdict: hidden gem, good enough to stand alone, like nothing else in the catalogue. We couldn't agree more. Don't sleep on this one. 🍇

Grower: InappropriatelyLarge

Medium: Coco | Lighting: LED | Container: 5 gal
Nutes: CropSalt
Training: Tucking | Cycle: 80–89 days | Height: 34–39 in (86–100 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Broad canopy, slightly dominant main cola
Yield: Harvest pending
Aroma: Medium during grow, loud sour berries throughout
Notes: Trim ease 3/5, trichomes 4/5, novice friendly, cure and smoke notes pending, grow again 4/5
Short Summary: Loud sour berries from seed to chop on a broad easy canopy — cure and smoke notes incoming, but the early signs are pointing straight at something worth remembering. 🍇🫐

InappropriatelyLarge's Member Berries run kept things simple and she kept things simple right back. Tucking only in the trusty 5-gallon coco setup, she built a broad canopy with one slightly more dominant main cola rising above the rest and filled the tent with loud sour berry aroma throughout — consistent, present and unmistakable from early on. An easy, no-fuss grow that Large describes as straightforward with cure and smoke notes still to come. What's already clear is that the sour berry character is loud, persistent and very much in charge, carrying the Member Os' lineage forward with confidence. A second data point confirming this one deserves serious attention when the full picture comes in. 'Member that smell? You will. 🍇

Grower: Zer0Tolerance

Medium: Coco | Lighting: 408W LED, 12/12 | Container: 1/4 gal
Nutes: Athena Pro Line at ~2.5 EC
Training: LST | Cycle: 80–89 days | Height: 16–21 in (40–55 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Even bushy, good lateral branching, compact, benefits from removing lower shaded nodes
Yield: TBD
Aroma: Low during grow, slight sweetness and earthiness; cure notes pending
Notes: Trim ease 4/5, trichomes 4/5, novice friendly, slower in cold conditions, zero fuss, cure and smoke notes pending, grow again 4/5
Short Summary: Slight sweetness and earthiness on a compact even bushy frame, zero drama from seed to chop, and cure notes still incoming on a strain that's quietly proving it adapts to anything you throw at it. 🍇🌱

Zer0Tolerance ran Member Berries lean and compact in a quarter-gallon cup under 12/12 lighting and she got on with it without complaint. Slower growth in cooler conditions kept her on the smaller side but good node spacing and even bushy lateral branching confirmed the structure was there; zero fuss throughout with a naturally tidy canopy that would benefit from removing lower shaded nodes to focus energy upward. Aroma stayed low and understated during the grow, a slight sweetness and earthiness that hinted at what's underneath without giving the game away. Harvest, cure and smoke notes are all still incoming on this one, but as a third data point on Member Berries the pattern is clear; easy, adaptable and quietly building toward something worth opening the jar for. 'Member patience? This one rewards it. 🍇

Grower: AutoFlowerFluff

Medium: Biochar & Organic Potting Soil | Lighting: Spider Farmer G4500 | Container: 3 gal self waterer
Nutes: Epsom Tomato-Tone
Training: None | Cycle: 70–79 days | Height: 22–27 in (56–70 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Decent overall canopy, would benefit from stem training and LST
Yield: ~3.5 oz
Aroma: Medium during grow, deep sweet and spicy with lingering Reese's Pieces candied peanut butter; skunky peanut butter on fingertips; cure notes pending
Notes: Trim ease 3/5, trichomes 4/5, intermediate difficulty, extra nutrients and water required, good deficiency indicators, committed grower recommended, grow again ⅗
Short Summary: Deep sweet and spicy Reese's Pieces candied peanut butter loud enough to linger on the fingertips, a higher maintenance grow that communicates clearly and rewards the committed grower who puts the work in. 🧈🥜🦨

AutoFlowerFluff unleashed Professor Chaos with no training and let her do what Professor Chaos does; cause a little mayhem and demand attention on her own terms. Running in a self-watering 3-gallon setup with Epsom Tomato-Tone, she asked for extra nutrients and extra water throughout but communicated her needs clearly, showing good deficiency indicators that allowed Fluff to correct course without any crop loss, a forgiving quality that makes her manageable despite the higher maintenance demands. Canopy was decent overall but would benefit from stem training and LST to unlock her full potential, something Fluff flags clearly for the next run. The aroma is the star of this report: deep sweet and spicy stem rubs with a lingering Reese's Pieces candied peanut butter smell that stuck to the fingertips like skunky peanut butter long after leaving the tent, and this was early flower. A profile that loud, that early, with that much cure still ahead is a very promising sign. At 3.5oz she delivered solidly for a no-training compact run, and Fluff's verdict is clear, great for the committed grower who wants to put the work in and get the full reward. Professor Chaos rewards those who take her seriously.

Grown by: InappropriatelyLarge

Medium: Coco | Lighting: LED | Container: 5 gal
Nutes: CropSalt
Training: Tucking | Cycle: 80–89 days | Height: 34–39 in (86–100 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Main-cola dominant, good lateral stretch, fat chonky buds, beautiful dark fade
Yield: Harvest pending
Aroma: Medium during grow, funky and hard to place early flower, faintly sweet and earthy late flower; cure notes pending
Notes: Trim ease 3/5, trichomes 4/5, novice friendly, stunning visual fade, cure and smoke notes pending, grow again 4/5
Short Summary: Mysterious funky early flower softening to sweet and earthy late, fat chonky buds with a stunning dark fade, and an effortless grow that's already turning heads before the jar is even opened. 🍇🏔️

Scuzzlebutt emerged from the tent like the legend herself. Unexpected, striking and impossible to ignore. InappropriatelyLarge kept things effortless in the 5-gallon coco setup with tucking only, and she rewarded the hands-off approach with a main-cola dominant frame, good lateral stretch and fat chonky buds that developed a beautiful dark fade through senescence that stopped him mid-grow. Aroma ran mysterious early in flower, funky and hard to place, the kind of smell that has you reaching for descriptors that don't quite fit, before softening into faintly sweet and earthy notes late in flower. Harvest and cure notes still incoming, but the visual on this one is already doing the talking. Like Scuzzlebutt herself, she's not what you'd expect, and that's entirely the point. Patrick Duffy's leg would be proud. 🏔️

Grower: Zer0Tolerance

Nutes: Athena Pro Line at 2.5 EC
Training: LST | Cycle: 80–89 days | Height: 16–21 in (40–55 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Even bushy, good lateral branching, compact, perky leaves throughout
Yield: TBD
Aroma: Medium during grow, bubblegum; cure notes pending
Notes: Trim ease 3/5, trichomes 3/5, novice friendly, zero fuss, benefits from removing shaded lowers, cure and smoke notes pending, grow again 4/5
Short Summary: Unexpected bubblegum on a compact even bushy frame, zero drama from seed to chop, and a pheno range that's already proving Scuzzlebutt contains more surprises than Patrick Duffy's leg. 🍇🫧🏔️

Zer0Tolerance ran Scuzzlebutt compact and clean in a quarter-gallon cup under 12/12 and she delivered another zero fuss performance. Perky leaves throughout, even bushy lateral branching and a naturally tidy canopy that would benefit from cleaning up the shaded lowers to push energy where it counts. The aroma surprise of this report is the bubblegum note that emerged during the grow, an unexpected and intriguing direction that sets this pheno apart from inappropriatelyLarge's funky hard-to-place early flower expression, suggesting Scuzzlebutt has real range across phenotypes. Harvest, cure and smoke notes all still pending, but two reports in and Scuzzlebutt is already showing she contains multitudes. Just like the monster herself, part Patrick Duffy, part bubblegum, all business.

Grower: SilentJ17

Medium: Coast of Maine Seed Starter | Lighting: Spider Farmer SE5000 with deep red, UV and IR supplemental + under canopy lighting | Container: 5 gal fabric pot
Nutes: Dr. Earth Homegrown & Flower Girl, Recharge, GH Silica, CalMag
Training: LST, light defoliation in flower | Cycle: 60–69 days | Height: 46–51 in (116–130 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Very tall, vigorous, giant round nugs, branches on branches, Forum Stomper pheno resemblance
Yield: 498g fresh frozen | Hash: 13.42g (2.69% return) | Rosin: 12.62g (94% press return)
Aroma: Medium during grow, fruity and gassy; after cure sour strawberry and sweet cream, loud and nose-tickling
Notes: Trim ease 5/5, trichomes 4/5, intermediate difficulty, extra water required, height management essential, ego-boosting grower, grow again 4/5.
Short Summary: Sour strawberry and sweet cream rosin at a jaw-dropping 94% press return, giant round nugs on a towering ego-boosting frame, and a sociable functional high that hits the eyes first and mellows into something you'll want to keep coming back to. 🍓🧈👮

Strawberry Authoritah commanded the tent from day one and absolutely refused to be ignored. SilentJ17 gave her a generous 5-gallon setup with full spectrum supplemental lighting and she responded by shooting skyward into one of the tallest and most vigorous plants of the entire Butters' Breath tester run: giant round nugs stacked on branches on branches in a structure that drew immediate comparisons to the Forum Stomper "branches on branches" pheno. Even with silica in the programme the branches needed tying up under the weight of the buds, and she ran thirsty throughout, demanding extra water as she pushed toward a striking 46-51 inch finish. The type of plant, as SilentJ17 puts it, that will boost any grower's ego. The fresh frozen run delivered 13.42g of hash from 498g of input at a 2.69% return, which then pressed into a staggering 12.62g of rosin at a 94% return, one of the most impressive press numbers of the entire tester programme. After a four day cure and a whip, the rosin hit with immediate sour strawberry and sweet cream that crept straight into the nose and tickled the hairs. The smoke brings in the earthy nutty Butters' Breath backbone before the sweet jammy backend from the Dodgy Jammers side takes over and makes its presence known. Effects hit immediately behind the eyes before mellowing into a functional, sociable high that works equally well for chores, gaming or getting out into the world. Respect has been earned. 🍓

Grower: Terpenetix

Medium: Soil | Lighting: Luxx 645 Pro LED | Container: 6.6 gal
Nutes: Terpenetix
Training: Topped, LST clips | Cycle: 70–79 days | Height: 40–45 in (101–115 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Bushy, responsive to training, even canopy
Yield: 7 oz
Aroma: High during grow, chem and apple candy; after cure chem, apple candy and watermelon rind
Notes: Trim ease 4/5, trichomes 5/5, intermediate difficulty, nitrogen hungry in early flower, otherwise easy, grow again 4/5.
Short Summary: Chem and apple candy deepening to watermelon rind in the jar, a bushy loud grower that's nitrogen hungry in early flower and generously rewarding at the end, with a long lasting couch-lock indica finish that keeps you horizontal. 🧈🍎🍬

Terpenetix topped and LST clipped Butters' Song into a bushy, loud and generously yielding plant that made its presence known from early flower and never let up. She ran nitrogen hungry as she transitioned into bloom (worth getting ahead of) but otherwise described as a breeze from start to finish, building a full bushy frame with great response to training and a terpene profile that filled the space with high strength chem and apple candy from the jump. The Appletizing side announced itself clearly and the Butters' Breath backbone kept the chem and depth anchored underneath. Post-cure that apple candy sharpened into a more complex chem and apple candy meets watermelon rind combination: a profile that sounds playful on paper but hits with serious indica weight on the smoke. Long lasting, deeply couchy and built for the evening, Butters' Song is the kind of strain that starts sweet and ends with you firmly planted on the sofa wondering where the last two hours went. At 7oz she came in well above her bushy frame suggested. 🧈

 Grower: Modkins

Medium: Happy Frog Soil, CoM Seed Starter, extra perlite | Lighting: 240W LED, 24/7 | Container: 2 gal
Nutes: Cronk Nutrients
Training: Leaf tucking | Cycle: 70–79 days | Height: 28–33 in (71–85 cm)
Plant Shape / Structure: Main-cola dominant, golf-ball sized flowers throughout, decent sized colas below main, minimal popcorn at bottom, overall dense
Yield: 80.1g
Aroma: Medium during grow, very tropical and fruity throughout; cure notes pending
Notes: Trim ease 4/5, trichomes 5/5, novice friendly, consistent tropical aroma, grow again 5/5
Short Summary: Loud tropical fruit from seed to chop, golf-ball sized dense nugs stacked top to bottom, and a trichome covered finish that has Randy Marsh written all over it. 🧈🌴🍬

Modkins ran Tegrity Treats with the same relaxed leaf tucking approach that's become his signature and she delivered one of the most consistent and satisfying grows of the Butters' Breath cross lineup. Tropical and fruity from seed to chop. Loud, consistent and never wavering; she built a main-cola dominant frame absolutely loaded with golf-ball sized flowers all the way down, decent sized colas just below the main and only a little popcorn near the very bottom. An overall dense plant that trimmed out at a clean 80.1g and earned a perfect 5/5 trichome rating in the process. Cure and smoke notes still incoming, but Randy Marsh would absolutely approve of what's coming out of this particular Tegridy Farm.
