You asked, we delivered.

Since we introduced our 1oz Mephisto x Grove Bags, the most common question we’ve had is “When are you going to do a bigger size?” Well, like John Cena told us, The Time Is Now.

So before we go into the designs, let’s take a little time to explore Grove, their TerpLoc® technology and how it helps growers cure and store their harvests.

What is TerpLoc® Technology?

TerpLoc® technology is designed specifically for cannabis curing, storage, and transport. Rather than introducing external moisture or relying on rigid containers, TerpLoc® packaging uses a proprietary, multi-layer film that creates a stable internal environment to support long-term quality preservation.

By regulating humidity internally, managing gas exchange, and limiting oxygen exposure, TerpLoc® helps maintain terpene integrity, cannabinoid stability, and overall flower consistency. This makes Grove Bags suitable not only for storage, but also for extended curing periods.

What Does Any Of That Actually Mean?

Essentially, the TerpLoc® technology that Grove Bags are made with gives you optimal conditions for curing your harvests. They don’t need to be burped, managed, finagled or fiddled with. Dry your harvest, stick it in a Grove Bag and you’re away. It’s as simple as that. Want to know how to dry your harvest? Here are some Mephisto Quick Tips.

Mephisto Quick Tips For Drying Your Autoflower Harvest

  1. Decide whether you’re going to wet or dry trim. There are lots of reasons to pick either method that generally come down to your own environment and personal preference. One isn’t necessarily better than the other.

  2. Figure out where you’re going to have your drying space. The space needs to be dark, with temperatures between 60-70F (15-21C) and humidity between 55-65%. You can use a hygrometer to monitor this.

  3. Decide on hang drying or rack drying. Hang drying is less labour intensive but does take up more space.

  4. Keep some amount of airflow through your space, but not directly on your harvest.

  5. Drying will ideally take from 10 days to 2 weeks, depending on your environment. A quick check can be done by snapping the stems, if they bend then they aren’t dry enough, if they give you a satisfying snap then you’re done.

  6. Use a moisture meter, a harvest that is between 10 and 12% is good to go.

Harvest Ready For The Grove Bag Treatment

Now you’ve got your buds properly dry, what’s next? It’s pretty simple, really. Finish trimming those sumbitches up, put them in your Grove Bags, leave around 25% of space in there, seal them up (leaving the air inside) and Gary Barlow some patience. Yeah, you can do a mini-cure and have something smokeable in about 2 weeks, but you’ll get far more benefit by waiting a little longer, around 4 to 8 weeks is the sweet spot. Cure to your liking, check in weekly for whatever cure suits you personally, since flower can change over time. Remember, as good as Grove Bags are, they’re not working miracles. You still need to store them somewhere cool and dark so they can do their thing in the right environment. You can even heat-seal the top for the ultimate cure.

Jimbo's Grove Bag SOP

These days, I split my harvests half and half. 50% of my garden will get defoliated, bucked into ¼lb Grove Bags, and frozen for a minimum of 48 hours before being prepared for hash rosin production. The ¼lb Grove Bags act as a great alternative to freezer bags, providing the freshly harvested flowers a safe journey through cold storage.
As for the other half of my harvest, those plants are defoliated and bucked down to individual buds for placement in the Cannatrol Cool Cure Units. These flowers are dried and cured using the factory settings for a total of 8 days. Following this, we manicure each bud to preference and place them into our 1-4oz grove bags for long storage. Once sealed, these bags are placed back into the Cannatrol for long storage. This method keeps the flower fresh indefinitely, allowing me to revisit bags months later and find no noticeable degradation in flavor or aroma.

So What Do The New Mephisto ¼ Pound Grove Bags Actually Look Like?

Alright, arm twisted. Here are the brand new designs without the spinning and John Cena.

Our new Mephisto x Grove Bags will be available in singles (you pick the design) or bundles of 3 (1 of each design). We know you’d love to be able to mix and match and bundle your own, but we want to be as streamlined as possible and make sure you’re getting what you’ve ordered. You’ll get a small discount for picking the bundle option, but you won’t be financially punished if you want to load up on singles of a particular design (it's the one designed by Jim Connolly, isn't it? @jimconnollydraws78)

What about prices?

Individual bags will be priced at $6, with a 3 bag bundle coming in at $15.

But what of the 1oz bags? Will they stay the same price as the new 1/4 pound bags I hear you ask? The answer is no! Our 1oz bags will be available at a discounted rate as of the release of the 1/4lb bags.

Here's what some of our Testers have to say about their Mephisto x Grove Bags

Enduro

These new Mephisto Grove bags are awesome.  I like the new style bag because it comes with an updated zip loc, slightly different shape, a NEW quarter pound size and of course the custom Mephisto designs! Grove bags will always be my go-to.  If you're like me and grow a lot of plants then grove bags are the way to go vs burping 50+ jars.  With the grove bags you just put your stinky Mephisto buds in them when they are 58-62%RH or 10-12% moisture on a moisture meter and wait 4-8 weeks and you have perfectly cured buds every time.  The true Ron Popeil of the cannabis world.  "Set it and forget it!"

Grove Bags are my go to storage option for all of my flower. I like to run a full cycle in the cannatrol and get a 1 month cure from the machine then immediately put them in grove bags for extended storage in a dark cool space.

The grove bags are so much more convenient than constantly burping jars and stinking up my house like Meph.

The Mephisto 1/4lb bags are gorgeous, I love the artwork they put on them and I’m also so happy they added bigger sizes, I also wouldn’t be mad at a half pound bag either. THANK YOU MEPH & GROVE BAGS!

Perfecting the final stop on cannabis cultuvation. You simply can't expect a great harvest without all the right tools. Now, that you have your beautifully grown Mephisto Genetic, ready to chop… what's next?! Sure, drying is important but the real flavor and smoking attributes develop during cure. Grove Bags are thee answer. I've done backyard dry; hanging under a lean to, drying in 90⁰+, drying in 30⁰, drying in paper bags, drying in a closet, just about every method besides a cannatrol. They all have their pros and cons but when it comes down to it, no matter how I've dried the plants; the Grove Bag takes that dried product and enhances it, contains its potency and bag appeal and helps quality control from the moment they go in the bag. Add a series of sick graphics and a size increase to match those bountiful harvest and boom we are blessed with the ¼ pound Meph x Grove Bags. It's a tried and true method to curing and I'm stoked to have access to these, you'll definitely need to add a  couple to your arsenal of growing tools!

Also I might mention… when are ½ pound bags? (Editor's note: **ohfluffoff.gif**)

Terpenetix

Grove Bags are far from a new entry into my gardens SOP's. Once upon a time I was burping jars twice a day for weeks trying to make sure I didnt have any issues in cure and decided to pick up some of these bags the guy at the grow shop couldn't stop begging me to try. I was skeptical. The ability to take freshly dried flower, throw it in a bag and call it a day for the entire curing process? Ridiculous. Except it wasnt. Kept in a dark cool place my flower has both cured and been preserved for the better part of a year with little to no drop in quality. Ive got a cabinet over flowing of 15 of these bags I can reach into at any given time for some perfect Mephisto flower.  Its not just a curing bag, its zero effort curing AND long term storage. Some amazingly designed new bags from my favorite breeder, now in a more convenient size for those that are crushing yields? Even better.

When's the 1/2 bag coming out

Breado

Grove has been changing the game with curing for me for years! Grove bags have shown me the real science behind the bags. Oxygen defusing, UV blocking, active humidity control, what else could you ask for?? The more I got into growing the more I used Grove bags. I realized that I didn’t have time to burp a million jars, so the switch was beyond easy. The new Quarter pound bags with the heavy duty zippers are honestly a life changer. Makes it easy to check my cures, and to see how my flower is changing over time. Between the bag designs, artwork and the new sizes, these bags are beyond killer. The art work wasn’t done by crayon, or robots. This is the real deal, amazing bags made by Grove Bags, brought to you by the legendary Mephisto Genetics? What more can you ask for, nothings been this sweet since the upcoming Rainbow Sundae 11 drop….😉
